Fishing port of Agaete in the north of Gran Canaria.

This town located in the north of Gran Canaria is visited by many people as it is the starting point of Gran Canaria – Tenerife ferry, but behind it hides a traditional fishing village with a fishing port that everyone would fall in love.

Covered by many natural pools and stone beaches with crystal clear water makes this place very natural and perfect for having a walk with your family.

The coast area of the village, known as Puerto de Las Nieves has many typical restaurants and bars with enviable views where you can taste fresh grilled fish, sardines, squid, octopus and other very typical canary products such as our potatoes or gofio.

Until 2005 the village was well known for its rock structure ¨El Dedo de Dios¨ (translated: God`s finger) that was standing in the see with the finger looking at the sky, but the tropical storm Delta destroyed this natural monument.
